To the registered voters residing within the County of Hidalgo, Texas, City of Alamo, City of Donna, City of Edcouch, City of Edinburg, City of La Joya and City of Peñitas.

Notice is hereby given that the polling places listed on this NOTICE will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on November 2, 2021, for voting in a Constitutional Amendment Election to adopt or reject the proposed Constitutional Amendments as submitted by the 87th Legislature, Regular Session, of the State of Texas, and for the following:

Special Elections

City of Donna, to vote on a charter amendment. City of Edinburg, to vote on charter amendment. City of Peñitas, to vote on a charter amendment.

General Elections

City of Alamo, to elect City Commissioners for Place 1 and 3, and a Municipal Court Judge. City of Donna, to elect City Councilmembers for Place 2 and 4.

City of Edcouch, to elect a Mayor and Aldermen for Place 3 and 4.

City of Edinburg, to elect a Mayor and City Councilmembers for Place 1 and 2. City of La Joya, to elect City Commissioners for Place 1 and 3.

"The constitutional amendment authorizing the professional sports team charitable foundations of organizations sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association or the Women's Professional Rodeo Association to conduct charitable raffles at rodeo venues."

“Enmienda constitucional que autoriza a la legislatura a establecer una exención de impuestos ad valorem de la totalidad o parte del valor de mercado de la residencia del cónyuge sobreviviente de un miembro de las fuerzas armadas de los Estados Unidos que haya fallecido o haya recibido una lesión fatal en cumplimiento del deber”.
