[ARCHIVED] Breast Cancer Awareness Overview for Staff

BCA 5.bmp

The County Clerk’s Office invited Mr. Mario Lizcano, Director of Corporate Affairs of Doctors Hospital at Renaissance and Gaby Tovar, a nurse at the Cancer Center, to speak to staff about Breast Cancer Awareness. Along with their visit, they treated the employees to a Jason’s Deli Lunch Box, which was delicious and much appreciated. Mr. Lizcano informed staff of the services they facilitate and to remind all women and men to have wellness exams periodically to prevent any problems that can escalate to more disastrous issues. Ms. Tovar listed some of the warning signs and preventative measures that need to be taken to avoid an advanced stage of cancer. The employees were appreciative of the visit from Doctors Hospital and got many thinking of making an appointment for mammograms and wellness exams. We would like to thank Doctors Hospital at Renaissance for their generosity and informative lesson on Breast Cancer Awareness.
