PRECINCT 4 EMPLOYEE HONORED FOR HIS YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE

Jaime Guerra, Parks Director for the Hidalgo County Pct. 4, retired on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, after thirteen years of outstanding and meritorious service to the County of Hidalgo and its constituents.

Born on Jan. 24, 1951 in Edinburg, Guerra is a 1970 Edinburg High School graduate.

"Thank you for giving me an opportunity to work with Pct. 4 until my retirement.  I carry and take with me lots of great memories," said Guerra. 

In 2004, Guerra was hired as a Parks Director under the supervision of the late Commissioner Oscar Garza.  He continued in that position under the administration of Commissioner Joseph Palacios, who is now serving his second term in office.

After serving 13 years, Guerra plans to spend more time with his family and participating more in recreational hobbies such as golf.
