[ARCHIVED] OFFICE OF COUNTY CLERK ARTURO GUAJARDO JR. OFFERS PRESENTATION ON NEW SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

On Tuesday, Sept. 13, County Clerk Arturo Guajardo Jr. and his staff welcomed county officials, employees and the public for a presentation on their new updated Records Management Software.

Since coming into office Mr. Guajardo has understood the need to move from a paper to digital record keeping format, partnering with KOFILE Inc. to integrate the record keeping software Vanguard to the county's system further helped make this goal a reality.

As a cloud based software, Vanguard allowed the County Clerk's office to expand their digital storage capabilities and provide more convenient online records research for the public.

The County Clerk's office began the transition to Vanguard last year with their vitals department and the software program became fully operational in all their departments in February 2016. Records which used to be housed in large warehouses are now available online 24/7. With one click, residents can search for property records, marriage certificates, financing statements, plats and foreclosures. The online records search allows constituents who may not have the time or means to visit the County Clerk's office to access these records from their home or office.

If you would like to search for property or vitals records you can visit the County Clerk's office website (www.hidalgocountyclerk.us) or go to search.kofile.com.
