Veterans Service Office

Our Mission

The County of Hidalgo Veteran's Service Office is an advocate agency established to assist veterans, their dependents and survivors in obtaining entitled benefits from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and the State of Texas.

Our clients are assigned to counsel with accredited and certified Veteran's Service Offficers.  Walkins are always welcome, but we do encourage veterans to call ahead to set up an appointment to minimize time spent waiting and to ensure that the office is meeting the needs of veterans in a confidential setting.

Veteran's Service Office does not receive compensation for the services rendered by our Veteran's Service Officers to veterans, their dependents and survivors.  We are not affiliated or funded by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.

We stand ready to serve our veterans!
