Commissioner’s Letter Some Words From Commissioner Joseph Palacios
I thank you for visiting our webpage. It is a pleasure to share with you the many projects and accomplishments completed by Precinct 4. Several communities, families and businesses have received a direct impact from our precinct initiatives.
Before I took office, I promised that each of you would have direct representation and that your personal needs would be met to the best of my ability. I am again proud to say that we have continued to reduce costs, improve county services and completed many projects that are impacting people throughout Precinct 4.
As we move forward, we will implement several road and drainage bond projects in Precinct 4. The new drainage projects will move storm water quicker out of our neighborhoods. We are determined to continue to meet the needs of our community, create safer environments and improve quality of life. We are working on developing additional parks and bringing important resources closer to our rural areas.
I intend to have our county government system always open and transparent and see that county services move closer to our citizens. It is the welfare and well-being of our citizens that always come first.
Respectfully, Joseph Palacios
Hidalgo County Commissioner PCT4
