Eligibility Requirements
1. INCOME CRITERIA
Households with income up to 185% of the federal poverty
line are eligible. Meet income guidelines. (See Below)

If you are on Medicaid, TANF, or SNAP, you meet Income eligibility guidelines for WIC.

2. NUTRITIONAL RISK
WIC is designed to help those at nutritional risk. Risk is assessed at your first appointment.

3. TEXAS RESIDENT
U.S. Citizenship is not a requirement for eligibility.

How to Become A WIC Client


Call the number indicated below to set an appointment at the WIC clinic of your choice. Please remember to bring an ID as proof of identification.

Bring Proof of Income
Bring all household income:
  • Medicaid, TANF, or SNAP form/letter
  • Paycheck stubs within last 30 days
  • Letter from employer
Bring Proof of Residency
One of the following:
  • Utility Bill
  • Rent Receipt
  • Official Business Letter
BRING INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM
(Please bring immunization records)
