The purpose of this work is to provide meaningful educational experiences to the children assigned to the classroom. Under immediate supervision, the employee has the responsibility to provide reports/documentation regarding the families and children assigned to them, and decisions are made on a routine level. He/She has daily contact with the families participating in the program and on occasion, with the general public. The employee is responsible for supervising one (1) employee (ie: the Assistant Teacher). Employee must abide by the Minimum Standards, Performance Standards, and the Program's Policies and Procedures.
Job Standards:
Must have a minimum of an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Development. Bachelor's Degree is preferred in Early Childhood Development. Current certification in first Aid and CPR must be maintained. One (1) to Two (2) years of experience in the field of early childhood education are preferred. Must have sufficient knowledge of child development to perform work as assigned. Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish). Must have an automobile and current liability insurance is required for work related travel. Applicant is required to provide copies of diplomas and certificates of achievements with application.

Hidalgo County (As Assigned)
Work Hours:
7:30am - 5:30pm Monday thru Friday. As scheduled 8 hours per day. |
