Will be responsible in assisting the classroom teacher in providing an appropriate learning environment for children with special needs in accordance with Texas Department of Family & Protective Services Minimum Standards, and the Hidalgo County Head Start Progam Policies and Procedures.  The employee has no supervisory responsibility.

Job Standards:
Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.  Must be willing to enroll in a Child Development Associate (CDA) Program and acquire First Aid and CPR certification.  Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish).  Must be able to deal with the public in a courteous and diplomatic manner.  Must have automobile and current liability insurance for work related travel.  Applicant is required to provide copies of diplomas and certificates of achievements with application.

Work Location:
Hidalgo County (As Assigned)

Work Hours:
7:30am -5:30pm Monday thru Friday.  As scheduled 8 hours per day.
